English abstract
This interaction design report explores how the co-location of citizen created initiatives concerning the urban space of Malmö and the receivers of such initiatives, can contribute to increase the ability and motivation to participate. This is explored through a location based design concept utilizing concepts of persuasive design to notify users of co-located initiatives based on their interests and where they are. Co-location of user and information facilitated participants in expressing their experience of the space. Persuasive design terms such as personalization, trustworthiness and normative influence proved useful in designing for e-participation.
