    Abstract [en]

The main question for our essay has been: Have the pupils of today the ability to analyze and reflect what they see in pictures? In search of this answer we have interviewed several pupils and used literature that is about the subject picture analysis. The answer we found was that the pupils lack experience and training in analyzing pictures. With our analysis from the interviews we studied the pupils views on peoples religions. When we looked at the pupils answers from the interviews we found that the their prejudices often where based on a lack of knowledge about religions. We also found that the older pupils were afraid of giving the wrong answers. This was something that wasn’t obvious in each case but we found tendencies towards this. The younger pupils wasn’t afraid of giving the wrong answers but they lacked a general knowledge about religion.
